This work was inspired by the novel 'Circe' by Madeline Miller retelling a story of goddess Circe from her perspective. Greek myths were told by men (Ovid, Homer etc), and interpreted mostly by men too, and now women scholars and writers research and retell the stories from female perspective, showing the other side of the narrative.
