Bucha empty acrylic mediumThis is one of the works that triggered my 'Right to Rage' project, dedicated to female rage, and it was created as a response to horrific war crimes by Russian soldiers in Bucha, Ukraine. As a Russian with Russian heritage this created a multi layered turmoil in me as apart from being horrified by the unspeakable violence I also was left with shattered identity. At this point it made me identify more with womanhood than ethnicity nationality.
